Message From Our Founder
Rev. Fr. Canice, during his seminary training, experienced challenges from a personal physical injury that inspired the founding of STEWARDS OF HOPE FOUNDATION.
The dream of founding STEWARDS OF HOPE FOUNDATION was achieved in 2012. We provide mobility and support to individuals with physical disabilities. Individuals with physical disabilities can now go to school and are no longer confined to one place. Our charity organization provides wheelchairs, cash assistance, food, and educational materials, to the underserved.
Today, many of our brothers and sisters are attacked by poor living conditions, starvation, lack of health care, and other unjust socio-economic structures. At STEWARDS OF HOPE FOUNDATION, We are entrusted with God’s work to offer hope through love in different capacities.
Please join us at STEWARDS OF HOPE FOUNDATION to give hope to underserved communities through the power of love, remembering that “We may not be able to eradicate all poverty, but that does not absolve us from our personal obligation to alleviate the suffering and poor conditions of others.” - Cardinal Donald Wuerl.
We are inspired by our belief that individuals with disabilities have the right to a dignified living, enlarged freedom, and respect as they pursue their aspirations and goals like other members of society. We are convinced that promoting the inviolable dignity of every human being is not based on social status, sex, religion, or political affiliation. But our God-given intrinsic value, moral essence, and fundamental human rights.
Our Lord Jesus Christ instructed us in Proverbs 19:17 that whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.
